Spring!!!

Had a short visit with my sister Patty last week, as she passed through on her way to Florida, and went to the quilt shop in Burnsville, NC. Bought a few things.

I saw this sample and just had to get fabrics to make it for the kids.

This is the panel for the center.

These are the squares used for the border, each has the name of a city.

And this piece for between the squares. Cute cute cute!!!

Decided to change it up for spring, so the Buttermilk Farms quilt went up.

As well as the garden quilt. Much more cheerful than the Let it Snow, lol.

Oh, I forgot the bag! I bought this at the quilt shop too. It s a plastisized bag with roller wheels. About $11.00 I think. It is sooo neat!

And I also forgot about the Chocolate Bunny Patch Abilitie!! Love these!!

It was around 70 and sunny today. Spent the day with my grand DIL, walked around downtown Asheville and had lunch at the Mellow Mushroom. Dave watched the kids. Nice!

Later,

Oh, I love the Mellow Mushroom. My daughter and I go there when we have "girls day". And I do like that map fabric. That would be a fun learning tool.

Have you started the map quilt yet? I like your little bunny. I have been sewing a little bit yesterday and today. I like your buttermilk quilt too!

Asheville seems like such a pretty town when I drive through on my trips to Charlotte. I got off the freeway to look for Hardee's one time, and drove through lovely sections - though I had a hard time finding the Hardee's! LOL I love that garden quilt.
