I found a tutorial for this towel on Pin Sew Press and just had to try it. I love the finished product. It is pretty and I won't mind it actually getting used for a towel.
I will definitely make some more.

I came across your blog via the "quilting blogger" website. I saw your quilt entered into the flying geese category and wanted to let you know I voted for it. The quilt is not the winning quilt yet but I wanted to let you know that you should not be disappointed as the 'winning' quilts rarely are the 'best' ones but rather a 'popularity' contest among the entrants. I think this is disappointing because I don't think the winner should be chosen by how many friends they have. I just looked quickly but I didn't see a post about you entering the contest and maybe you should do that so more people that are not 'friends' with the current winner can vote for who they think should actually win this.
